News Van Supplier Offers Vehicle Upgrade Program Provides new vehicles outfitted with equipment migrated from retired vans (January 27, 2005)

E-N-G Mobile Systems, one of the country's leading suppliers of broadcast news vans, announced today the introduction of its innovative Re-Chassis Program, which offers new vehicles outfitted with equipment migrated from retired vans. The Re-Chassis Program can save customers in the broadcast industry 15% to 30% over the cost of a newly equipped van.

E-N-G's Re-Chassis Program is available for all of its current models, including full-featured ENG as well as SNG systems. The Re-Chassis Program provides a news vehicle equipped with all the reliability and safety features of a new truck, including a full three-year warranty, along with the cost-savings of utilizing tested reliable equipment, available from the retired vehicle.

"E-N-G Mobile Systems is always in the forefront of providing economical solutions to the broadcasting industry that speak to the bottom line, yet don't compromise quality," said Ted Kendrick, Vice President of Sales. "The Re-Chassis program provides the best of both worlds-a brand new van that is safe and reliable, along with tested equipment that offers years of efficient use."

Kendrick said that E-N-G had opted not to outfit used or remanufactured vans because of concerns with safety and durability. "We would much rather start off with new vehicles and update the equipment if necessary," he said.

Kendrick said that several stations have already acquired E-N-G's re-chassied vehicles, including KCRA TV and KXTV Channel 10 in Sacramento.

The Re-Chassis Program will be offered through both the company's West Coast and East Coast facilities. E-N-G provides a full warranty service for its systems and maintains an extensive inventory of spare parts for nationwide overnight delivery.
